Yin Yoga & REIKI CLASS

Join us in our upstairs group space and recharge with 75 mins of herbal infused, gentle, restorative poses. During this soothing practice, each pose will be held for 5-10 minutes while our Reiki practitioner/massage therapist offers treatments to each participant. Space is limited to 5 participants so that everyone can receive ample individual attention.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation. It is the art of healing by universal energy, which flows through the practitioner to the client. You will notice areas that you do not have a lot of energy, a very heavy feeling to be restored and uplifted with a new, warm sensation. Reiki treats the whole person: re-balancing the body, mind, and spirit while stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. It has been found to help all types of illnesses by relieving symptoms + aiding speedy recovery and supports mental + emotional healing.

yin yoga

Yin yoga focuses on the release of fascia throughout the body. Many of the postures hub on areas that encompass a joint (hips, sacrum, spine) to help release those deeper tissues. You may experience your body shaking when your muscles are in the process of releasing. While holding these poses there is a deep concentration on breath to invite a very meditative experience to the session. By the end of the session you may feel a balanced movement of energy throughout your body.


MEET YOUR PRACTITIONER

Katie Bosch is a Reiki Level II Certified practitioner. Originally a Reiki skeptic, she changed her tune when she received a session from a friend and was blown away by the deep sense of relaxation and balance she felt afterwards. After her session, she was hooked and has been furthering her Reiki studies and trainings ever since. 

Katie is also a long time float fiend and highly recommends pairing a Reiki session with some time in the tank. You can learn more about Katie here.
