Maggie Bertsche, LMT, NCETMB

Massage Therapist – (she/her)

Maggie is a nationally certified massage therapist who brings over a decade of experience in the healing arts with a rich foundation in psychology, art, and touch research. She offers a range of treatments that include pregnancy, post-partum, myofascial release, Swedish, and the treatment of repetitive stress holding patterns.

Her foundations in the healing arts began in the field of Psychology with a minor in Art History from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She completed her massage training at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2012. Since then, her bodywork practice has been informed by years of hands-on experience in healthcare settings, private practice, integrative healthcare communities, and dance studios where she developed a deep respect for the body’s patterns, pain responses, and capacity for change.

Maggie’s curiosity about the mind-body connection led her back to graduate studies in Educational Psychology, where her research turned toward interdisciplinary themes in the Health Humanities. She is currently pursuing a PhD focused on how science, art, and embodied experience shape our understanding of healing.

In every session, Maggie draws from this layered background to offer an approach that is both grounded, contemplative, and expansive. Her practice is centered on presence, collaboration, and care. She believes that touch is a powerful mode of communication and that bodywork can open space for physical recovery, restoration, and deeper community building.
